If you or someone you know has been displaced by wildfires, there are organizations in our community providing emergency support and essential resources to help individuals and families through this difficult time.

During this difficult time, Northern Credit Union is here to help. We are offering specialized financial support to our members, including flexible lending solutions and other tailored services, to help affected members navigate the road ahead with greater peace of mind.

The Northwestern Ontario Wildfire Community Support Fund, a collaborative initiative led by the United Way of Thunder Bay and the Thunder Bay Community Foundation, is providing immediate relief and supporting long-term recovery efforts for those impacted by the fires. The Mikinakoos Children's Emergency Fund is also helping children and families across 33 First Nations communities by providing essential items and resources.

To help strengthen these community-led efforts, Northern Credit Union proudly donated $10,000 to the Northwestern Ontario Wildfire Community Support Fund and $5,000 to the Mikinakoos Children's Emergency Fund.
