Northern Credit Union Opens 26th Branch in Petawawa

(Petawawa, ON, September 15, 2014) – Northern Credit Union celebrates opening its 26th branch this week in Petawawa. The full‐service credit union opens its doors to the public on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 3025 Petawawa Boulevard, and is the first Northern Credit Union branch in Petawawa.
The new 3,000 square foot, locally built location, provides a modern and welcoming open‐concept environment, complete with teller pods – for better interaction with members. The branch also offers a drive‐thru ATM, night depository services, and safety deposit boxes. The comfortable interior features a lounge with fireplace, LED marketing screens, and a complimentary coffee bar.
The new Petawawa branch reflects Northern Credit Union’s exciting brand strategy.
“True North Strong sends a message that we work harder, go farther, and do more for our members, neighbours, and local businesses,” said Al Suraci, President and CEO of Northern Credit Union. “We took this to heart when we built our new branch in Petawawa.  We’ve always felt very welcome here and look forward to furthering our relationship with this community, demonstrating our commitment to our new members in Petawawa.”
Staffed with five financial professionals, who have undergone extensive training from basic transactional services to more complex financial solutions, Northern will provide top‐notch personal and small business banking.  And as a kick‐start, Northern is offering special promotions for new members with Northern – including three months of free banking and bonus credit card reward points.
Two charity BBQs, in partnership with Moncion Grocers, will be held at the new branch on Wednesday September 24 and Saturday, September 27.  All proceeds will go to Wounded Warriors.  Stop by and meet the team!
